The design at left is of a
sticker produced for the 1999-2000 German Antarctic flight team of two special equipped
twin otter aircraft and 6 people. This party provided logistic support for various German Antarctic teams plus some teams from other nations throughout the Antarctic Peninsular and as far afield as the South Pole and the South African Sanae Base |

The German Antarctic Air unit for the 20th season arrived at Punta Arenas in the middle of November, 2002 and comprised 10 people as shown at left plus two aircraft "Polar Two" and "Polar Four". The unit provides air support from Punta Arenas to Rothera to Halley Station to Neumayer Station and points in between plus supplying deep field camps. |
