Note: The above basic series of cards has under-gone many printing. This is indicated on the back of the cards by the batch numbers which in some values are now well up in the hundreds. In some cases there has been a drift in the basic colours used. The $30 card started out as mustard brown and now is a bright orange colour. Cards from batch one have different wording on the back and are accordingly worth a premium.

Note: The basic 1998 series was re-issued in January 2000 with a redrawn design incorporating a much larger "Telecom New Zealand" name branding and a change in colour of the value tablet.  For the $20 card the highest batch number of the old design seen is batch 538 and the lowest of the redrawn design is batch 565. We would appreciate reports of batch numbers between these two along with details of which design they feature. The $10 value has since been dis-continued. Note that the $100 card is only supplied with the purchase of a cell phone and accordingly is inscribed "Not for individual sale"  on the face. The $75 value was re-issued in 2001 in a darker blue on card rather than plastic and now with a Serial number on the reverse as well as the batch number.

The above series of Go Prepaid cards have imprints for other companies on the reverse instead of Telecom New Zealand.  A complete series of  StarWars cards comprises the above listed 11 different cards. Note: The Ben Rumble "Obiwon Kenobi" card is known with the "Go Prepaid" number in Silver on a black background instead of the usual black number on a white background. This variety is also known with the $75 Watto card.
