NEW ZEALAND GSM CARDS.
These cards are used to hold smart chips which when inserted into a cellular phone enable to user to access cellular phone services anywhere within cellular coverage. The first company to introduce a service in New Zealand was the American Bell South Company which shortly afterwards was taken over by the English company Vodafone which has expanded the network. We do not know the exact order of issue or dates of issue of these cards but they are arranged in what we consider to be the likely order of issue. For recent cards those with an orange colour are for use with pre-pay phones. We show below the front of the cards at left and the reverse at right. We have few of these cards for sale and most are very scarce in intact condition. |
