UNION ROTOITI
The "Union Rotoiti" is a Trans-Tasman container vessel operated by the Union Steamship company of New Zealand. It was built in 1977 at Wyalla in Australia and has a sister ship, the "Union Rotorua". In 1989 New Zealand Post issued a set of 6 stamps entitled "Heritage-the Sea" and the $1.50 shipping value featured a view of the "Union Rotoiti".
