"LEUCOTON"
The "Leucoton" is a Chilean Navy vessel which operates in Southern Chile. It is shown above berthed in Punta Arenas prior to departure for the Antarctic.

Note: This cover is postmarked at "Arturo Prat" Antarctic Base with the usual base postmark in light blue and also bears the base cachet in light violet at center bottom. The two cachets at bottom left are from the "Leucoton" itself. The cover has been backstamped on arrival in Christchurch on 18th February, 2000.
